Community Partners
Many Redlands businesses and service organizations join with the Rochford Foundation to help realize the mission of serving children.
Several community organizations make use of the mansion – free of charge – to hold gala fundraisers that help them continue their own work.Some help distribute to needy families our ever-increasing oranges harvest, some send volunteers to help out at the mansion in a variety of ways.
Other groups & businesses have made donations for the kids: bicycles and helmets, laptop computers, golf clubs, award pins and plaques … and pumpkins!
The Young Readers’ Room at Redlands’ public library joins The Redlands Daily Facts and the Rochford Foundation in sponsoring the Redlands Kids’ Riddle Contest every month during baseball season. Riddles are about the history, places, and people of Redlands. Grand prize each month is a set of behind-home-plate tickets to an Angels baseball game, donated by the Rochford Foundation.
Assisteens is the teen auxiliary of the Assistance League of Redlands. They hold a winter dance every year at the mansion as a fundraiser to buy Christmas toys for the Redlands Fire Department’s “Spark of Love” toy drive.
Redlands Benchwarmers is a nonprofit that offers financial support to high school athletic programs in the Redlands Unified School District. The Rochford Foundation hosts an annual fundraiser barbeque for Benchwarmers’ members and friends at the mansion.
